SEARCH SETUP
One routine for your six domains.
The downloadable script checks public web addresses in your Cloudflare zones and public GitHub Pages. It reports blocked pages, missing titles and sitemaps, and the sitemap URLs to submit. It makes no changes during an audit.
Download the Python search kitPython 3.10 or newer. No packages to install. Keep account tokens in your own terminal, never in this website.
1. Audit the sites
Run this in Google Cloud Shell or another terminal with Python 3. Start without an account token to check the six main domains and public GitHub Pages:
python3 seo_kit.py audit --out seo-reportFor all web hostnames in Cloudflare DNS, create a token limited to these zones with Zone Read and DNS Read. Enter it privately in your terminal, then rerun:
read -rsp 'Cloudflare API token: ' CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN; echo
export CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN
python3 seo_kit.py audit --out seo-reportOpen seo-report/actions.md for the next steps and seo-report/sites.csv for every checked address. The script also exports sitemap page URLs in seo-report/sitemap-pages.txt.
2. Verify six Domain properties
In Google Search Console, add one Domain property for each root below. A Domain property covers its subdomains. Google gives you one DNS TXT value per property; add it at that root in Cloudflare and click Verify.
For fewer clicks, save the six exact values Google gives you in a local verification template renamed verification.json, mapping each domain to its google-site-verification=… value. With a Cloudflare token that also has DNS Edit, preview and then add missing records:
python3 seo_kit.py verify-dns --tokens verification.json
python3 seo_kit.py verify-dns --tokens verification.json --applyThe command checks for an identical existing TXT record and leaves it alone. It does not click Google's Verify button.
3. Submit the discovered sitemaps
After verification, open each property in Search Console → Sitemaps and paste the matching sitemap URLs listed in seo-report/actions.md. Fix addresses marked blocked, noindex, or unreachable first. The script's optional submit command can submit eligible sitemaps when you already have a Google OAuth access token with the Search Console webmasters scope:
read -rsp 'Search Console OAuth token: ' GOOGLE_SEARCH_CONSOLE_TOKEN; echo
export GOOGLE_SEARCH_CONSOLE_TOKEN
python3 seo_kit.py submit --report seo-report/report.json
python3 seo_kit.py submit --report seo-report/report.json --applyGitHub Pages hosted at abc3rd.github.io need their own verified URL-prefix property or a verified custom domain before sitemap submission. Make sure each Pages repository actually publishes a sitemap from its deployed site.
What this can establish
The report checks whether pages are technically reachable and appear eligible to be crawled. It cannot read Google's index without Search Console access, and verification or sitemap submission does not ensure indexing or a ranking. Re-run the audit after launches and use Search Console's URL Inspection and indexing reports to check the result.
